Executive Profile

Richard Savage is President of the Motor Vehicle Network (MVN) and founded in 1988. Currently, Mr. Savage oversees the Corporation’s sales, operations and technical departments. Prior to establishing MVN, Mr. Savage was employed for 22 years by the American Broadcasting Company. He served as President of ABC-TV Spot Sales and as Vice President of the ABC Television Network, with responsibilities for 213 ABC-TV affiliates.

Scott Savage is Vice President and General Manager of the Motor Vehicle Network (MVN). Mr. Savage is responsible for the day-to-day management of MVN including sales. Prior to joining the Motor Vehicle Network, Mr. Savage was an Account Executive for a group of radio stations that operates in the New York vicinity, WALK, WNCN and WGSM.

Brad Savage is Vice President and Operations Director for the Motor Vehicle Network (MVN). Mr. Savage’s responsibilities include the management/coordination of all technical operations including all installation aspects for the Motor Vehicle Network. After graduating from East Carolina University in 1987, Mr. Savage was Program Director at WZMB radio in North Carolina.

Murray Michaels is Vice President of Marketing for the Motor Vehicle Network (MVN) Mr. Michaels oversees the financial and marketing operations of the company. Prior to his current position, from 1988 to 1993, he was employed as a general partner and served as VP of Operations for FCVS Communications. Prior to joining FCVS, Mr. Michaels was employed by the American Broadcasting Company in the areas of marketing and research in the Owned Television Stations Division and with the ABC Television Network.

Mark Handler is Vice President of Creative Services for the Motor Vehicle Network (MVN). He is also President of the Handler Group, a company that provides customized, creative marketing services to such organizations as IBM, Citibank, Dunn & Bradstreet and ESPN. He has also served as Executive Director of Creative Services for Dow Jones & Company and was Director of Promotion and Research for WABC-TV.

Ben Erling is Vice President of Network Operations for the Motor Vehicle Network (MVN). Mr. Erling’s area of expertise is the implementation and enhancement of the signage network. He draws on his expertise of computer science, web design and content creation. This includes an extensive familiarity with the hardware and software that drives signage networks as well as advanced knowledge of software used for content creation and video editing, programming and web languages.

Cindy Savage-Abel, Director of Government Relations and News Operations. She assists in the writing of both the daily news and human-interest stories. In addition, Cindy works directly with the states and writes/updates State messages. Cindy, is a Telecommunications graduate of Michigan State University, has worked as an Account Executive in the television station business and at radio stations including WSTC in Stamford, Connecticut; KNX-FM in Los Angeles, California; and WGST in Atlanta, Georgia.
